ELDER ZEPHANIAH WB. KAFFEY, SR.
GENERAL OVERSEER/FOUNDER AND SENIOR PASTOR
Elder Kaffey. Sr. started his Biblical education from the Collage of West Africa located in West Africa, Republic of Liberia where he was trained and educated on Biblical principles. Under the sponsorship of the United Methodist Church. he and three others established a church called the Lot G. Mathew United Methodist Church where he served as a Lay Leader of the church.
Later Elder Kaffey was trained and mental under the direct supervision of the Late Rt. Rev. Bishop Alfred G. Reeves for more than 10 years within the United Church of God in Christ, Inc. where he served in many capacities on both the local and international levels, as well as being trained in many disciplinary areas relating to Biblical Studying and teaching. He graduated from the Monrovia Vocational Bible Institutes with a Certificate in Biblical studies.
He graduated from the University of Liberia with a Degree in Accountancy with an emphasis in Business Administration, and from the Anoka Technical College with a Degree in Architectural design. In 1996, he migrated to the United States of America into the State of Minnesota. Here the Lord called Elder Kaffey, Sr. to organize and establish a ministry now called the Refuge International Ministries along with his wife, Rev. Yassah M. Kaffey to cater to the lost souls in the Kingdom of God.
Elder Kaffey attended the Liberty University where he studied Ministry and Theology. He has been preaching for the past 21 years. Elder Kaffey, Sr. Elder Kaffey, Sr. Joined the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakotas District Council (M. W. D. C.) that is a Jesus Christ centered, progressive, regional fellowship of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. Where he was trained and ordained 2011 at the Mt. Zion Assemble Healing Temple in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Elder Kaffey was later ordained as Elder.
