about us

The Refuge International Ministries (RIM) is a full Gospel-denominational church now located in the City of Crystal, Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America. It emphasizes both the Pentecostal experience with the evidence of speaking in tongues and a life of holiness. Its primary goals and objectives are to win the lost souls for Christ. This follows our Mission statement of the church that states, “Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of God’s love in Jesus Christ and to reach out to the communities, Cities, Districts and Counties with Christian love to all.”

After waiting before the Lord through fasting and praying and in order to bring God’s children together in unity here in the state of Minnesota, the RIM was established early 2000 in the basement of Bro. Zephaniah WB. Kaffey, Sr. and Sis. Yassah M. Kaffey founder and co-founder respectively located at 8450 Sumter Circle, in the City of Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis Minnesota. After several months of conducting evening prayer services, its first published service was held on Sunday, January 2, 2000 under the name: Victory Evening Prayer services. Service continued until the end of the year, at which time a general meeting was called to rename the church, which is now Refuge International Ministries, and the name was unanimously voted upon. This ministry established branches in Liberia and South Africa.
